Mr. Mbuyita's extensive qualifications and wealth of experience underscore his significant contributions to the fields of public health, agriculture, and education. With a Master of Public Health from the University of Leeds, a Diploma in International Health from the same institution, and a BSc in Agriculture General and Rural Sociology from Sokoine University of Agriculture in Tanzania, he possesses a solid academic foundation.

Over the past 25 years, Mr. Mbuyita has demonstrated his expertise as a Senior Multisectoral Consultant, focusing on agriculture, agro-economics, agribusiness, education, and health. His work spans across multiple countries in Africa, including Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Ghana, Zambia, and the Congo Republic. Through collaborations with esteemed institutions such as WHO, UNICEF, UNFPA, UN-Women, ILO, as well as bilateral organizations like USAID, DFID, GIZ, and Save the Children, he has made significant contributions to research, project implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.

Currently serving as a Technical Advisor for the Mwanamke Initiatives Foundation in Zanzibar and a Special Advisor to the Director of Preventive Services at the Ministry of Health in Zanzibar, Mr. Mbuyita plays a crucial role in shaping health policies and initiatives in the region.

His extensive publication record and strong writing skills for technical reports, grant papers, articles, scientific papers, training guidelines, job aids, policy briefs, and advocacy materials further highlight his ability to disseminate knowledge and influence policy formulation.
