The opening of Kizimkazi Festival 2024
The early morning of 18/8/2024 marked the official launch of the 2024 Kizimkazi Festival. The launch was officiated by His Excellency Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, the President of Zanzibar and Chair of the Revolutionary Council of Zanzibar. With impressive strength and exemplary determination, President Mwinyi led more than 800 people in a 3.4 km walk to the Kizimkazi Festival grounds.
