Medical Officer (1)

We are looking for a Medical Officer for our medical center at Bungi Resources Center. As a Medical Officer, your fundamental job will be to manage the daily operations of the medical center, such as treatments, counselling, health education etc. 

Main duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide medical, and emotional care for patients

  • Perform diagnostic tests to obtain information about patients' medical conditions

  • Administer treatments, medications, therapies, and vaccinations to treat illness, injuries, and disorders

  • Treat patients who suffer from minor injuries, chronic, and acute health problems

  • Recommend specialists to patients who need additional medical attention and referrals.

  • Counsel and educate patients on hygiene, diet, and disease prevention

  • Document patient medical history; record notes to update medical conditions

Medical Officer Requirements and Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited medical school or university college. 

  • 2-3 years of working experience.

  • Board certification and valid License to practice in Tanzania. 

  • Encouraging the patient and other medical staff

Proof of previous Leadership and mentorship roles.
